Know about Chief Minister Shishu Seva Scheme
Assam Shishu Seva Scheme was launched by CM on Saturday, 29 May 2021. CM Hemanth Biswa Sarma mentioned it as a complete scheme to help orphans. Covid affected families can again revive due to this scheme.
Children who lost their parents due to Covid are beneficiary to this scheme. On 10 June 2021, Assam CM organized a public drive for this scheme. He gave a cheque of 3500 rupees, FD certificate and a laptop to 11 childrens. Later he tweeted about this schemes.
This year in May 2021 BJP party leadership put its concern on Covid pandemic. They suggested to its state ruling governments to help covid-19 affected families. Assam is a BJP ruled state. In support of this, Assam CM launched this scheme. This scheme is a full package to care orphan children.

This scheme is a social as well as finacial security for orphan children.
Benefits of CM Shishu Seva Scheme
This scheme will help children who have lost their parents during covid-19.
Firstly, Government will deposit 7,81,200 rupees in the account of each beneficiary. This complete amount will be paid to the beneficiary when they turn 24 years old.
Secondly, Children lost their parents will get monetary benefits as well as educational support also. Apart from this, childrens will get admission in reputed institutions also.
Under Shishu Seva Scheme, Government will also take care of job oriented education for orphan children. Orphan children will get one laptop.
Extra benefits to orphan adolescent girls
Shishu Seva Scheme will give some special benefit to adolescent girls. In Spite of getting mentioned benefits orphaned adolescent girls will get some more benefits. Girls will get admission into well reputed educational institutes.
In addition, government will provide financial help for their marriage. Apart from getting one tola of gold under Arundhati scheme, they will receive an amount of Rs 50,000 also. This way, Shishu Seva Scheme cares the adloscent girls till they stand on their own feet.
